Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine
This Venus Optics Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine lens with MFT mount is calibrated in feet and offers a wide angle of view of 100°. It is perfectly suited for outdoor shooting, landscapes and confined interior spaces, and is optimised for digital cinematography. Light and compact, it is suitable for both handheld shooting and use on gimbals or tripods.
The 9mm cine lens has a maximum aperture of T2.9 with 15 elements in 10 groups. Its 7-blade aperture offers soft and pleasant bokeh, a shallow depth of field with little or no distortion, and a minimum focus distance of 4.72". The focus and iris rings are equipped with standard MOD 0.8 gears that fit standard cine focus follow motors. Compact with a 58 mm front diameter and a 55 mm filter thread for adding filters. Focus and iris markings are located on the side of the lens to facilitate the work of camera assistants. A Pelican hard case with custom foam is included to protect and transport the lens.
