Characterised by its extremely wide field of view and rectilinear rendering, the Venus Optics Laowa 9 mm f/5.6 FF RL lens for Sony E mount is a prime lens offering a unique perspective particularly well suited to interior, architectural, nature and landscape subjects. The immense 135° angle of view is complemented by an advanced optical design that uses low-dispersion, aspherical and high-refractive-index elements to control various aberrations and distortions for excellent sharpness, clarity and colour accuracy. The lens features manual focus and allows working with subjects as close as 4.7", and its built-in petal-shaped lens hood helps to block stray light that could cause unwanted flare. Furthermore, the lens is also characterised by its particularly compact size, making it ideal for everyday photography and travel.
