Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro
The Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro - Leica L is the world's first lens to combine an ultra-wide angle of view with 1:1 macro capabilities. This allows photographers around the world to start experimenting in the rather exciting field of "wide angle macro photography" without the use of extension tubes. Current macro lenses on the market tend to have medium to long focal lengths that prevent photographers from taking close-up shots of insects or flowers while including background details such as their habitat or environment. (Focus from infinity to 1:1 magnification), The macro lens offers an ultra-wide angle of view of 110 degrees with a maximum magnification of 1:1. Photographers can focus very close to the subject and let the foreground dominate the photo while allowing the background to show viewers where and how the subject lives. Your photo will immediately become very informative and intriguing. Every element of the lens is coated with an anti-reflective coating to prevent unwanted flare and ghosting., This robust lens, with a metal body, can also serve as an excellent ultra wide-angle lens with infinity focus for full-frame sensor cameras. A shift mechanism is added to the rear end of the lens with a maximum adjustment of +/- 6mm for APS-C cameras, which is extremely useful in landscape/architecture photography for distortion correction., The lens comprises 12 elements in 9 groups with three high-refractive-index elements and one extra-low dispersion element to deliver crystal-clear sharpness at the centre and at the edges. Barrel distortion is also carefully controlled. It is not only a macro lens, but you can also use it for landscape or travel photography thanks to its ultra-wide angle of view (110°). Fourteen aperture blades form a near-circular aperture, capable of creating a shallow and creamy depth of field. The lens body is made of metal for maximum strength and durability.
