Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro
The Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro lens (Sony A) is designed to minimise distortion affecting wide-angle lenses through an advanced construction of 12 elements in 9 groups with one extra-low dispersion element and three high refractive index elements. A multi-layer anti-reflective coating further enhances image quality by reducing the appearance of flare and ghosting. Additionally, when used on APS-C cameras or in crop mode, the lens offers a vertical shift of +/- 6 mm which can help correct perspective when photographing subjects such as buildings.
Fully manual operation is required with this lens via a physical aperture ring with a range of f/4 to f/32 and a large focus ring. A flat front element allows the use of a 77 mm front thread to use a selection of specialist filters to enhance your scene. Additionally, it features a near-circular 14-blade aperture for smooth bokeh elements and comes with a lens hood.
