Combining an exceptionally wide angle of view with the ability to correct perspective distortion, the Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift from Venus Optics is an ideal lens for architectural and interior photography. Offered here in FUJIFILM G mount, the lens's wide 94° angle of view is complemented by an impressive +/- 11mm shift range to compensate for unwanted converging lines and keystone distortion. Additionally, as a member of the Zero-D lens series, this lens also renders scenes with high precision and very low distortion.
Optically, two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are present, reducing spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. A "Frog Eye" water-repellent coating also protects the front element from water droplets and moisture. The lens uses manual focus to work with subjects up to 25 cm away and features a fourteen-blade diaphragm to produce smooth, circular bokeh and specular highlights when stopped down when photographing point light sources.
The 20mm ultra-wide-angle lens is designed for use with FUJIFILM G mirrorless medium format cameras, where it offers an equivalent focal length of 16mm.
As a member of the Zero-D series, this lens features an optical design that renders subjects with minimal distortion to suit architectural, interior, and landscape applications.
The built-in +/- 11mm shift adjustment helps correct perspective distortion and eliminate keystone distortion.
The large image circle easily covers full-frame sensors without vignetting. Additionally, this lens can also be adapted to certain mirrorless medium format cameras, where +/- 8mm shift is available.
