The Master Anamorphic 100mm lens is one of the lenses in the ARRI/Zeiss range characterised by low distortion and a fast T1.9 aperture for achieving shallow depth of field. This anamorphic lens offers the skin tones and colour rendition for which Zeiss is renowned, and colour matches with other ARRI/Zeiss lenses and ARRI/Fujinon zooms. Its 15-blade iris produces cinematic oval bokeh with distinctive focus fall-off. Breathing is minimal during focusing and there is no "anamorphic mumps/swollen face effect" on your talent. With no visible quality drop in the corners of your images, the full 2.39 format image is usable.
Designed specifically for use with digital cinema cameras, the ARRI/Zeiss Master Anamorphic lenses will deliver optimal image quality when used with an ARRI ALEXA camera in 4:3 format. They will also work with film cameras. Chromatic aberrations and vignetting in the corners of the image are reduced thanks to the quasi-telecentric design of these multi-coated lenses.

The Master Anamorphic 100mm lens has a minimum focusing distance of 37", focus markings in feet, a lightweight of 6.8 pounds, and a compact length of 8.3". The PL LDS mount on the Master Anamorphic 100mm lens will transmit lens data to compatible cameras.
