The Master Anamorphic 135mm lens is the longest in a series of ARRI/Zeiss lenses offering low distortion and a fast T1.9 aperture to achieve shallow depth of field. This anamorphic lens delivers the skin tones and colour rendering for which Zeiss is renowned, and colour-matches other ARRI/Zeiss prime lenses and ARRI/Fujinon zooms. Its 15-blade iris produces cinematic-looking oval bokeh with a distinctive focus fall-off. Breathing is minimal during focusing and there is no "anamorphic mumps/swollen face" effect on your talent. With no visible loss in the corners of your images, the full 2.39 format image is usable.
Designed from scratch for use with digital cinema cameras, the ARRI/Zeiss Master Anamorphic prime lenses will deliver optimal image quality when used with an ARRI ALEXA camera in 4:3 format. They will also work with film cameras. Colour fringing and shading in image corners are reduced thanks to the quasi-telecentric design of these multi-coated lenses.

The Master Anamorphic 135mm prime lens has a minimum focus distance of 47", focus markings in feet, a lightweight of 8.4 pounds and a compact length of 8.9". The PL LDS mount on the Master Anamorphic 135mm prime lens will transmit lens data to compatible cameras.
