Arri Master Prime 150/T1.3 M
The Master Prime 150mm is one in a set of 16 from ARRI/Zeiss offering excellent resolution, advanced contrast, almost no breathing, and a fast T1.3 aperture for achieving shallow depth of field. Ranging from 12mm to 150mm, the Master Primes offer the skin tones and colour rendition characteristic of Zeiss and are colour-matched for consistency across the set. These lenses incorporate an iris with at least nine blades for cinematic bokeh with distinct focus transition. Dual floating elements provide optimal close-focus performance whilst minimising breathing when focusing. The advanced T*XP coating reduces reflections and glare whilst improving contrast.
Designed with aspherical elements to minimise chromatic aberration, the ARRI/Zeiss Master Primes offer optimal image quality and clean chromakey. High resolution is maintained in image corners even when the lens is used wide open and at close focus. Each lens features a PL mount and a built-in LDS system for transferring lens data to compatible cameras. The expanded focus scale offers generous space for marks, and features fluorescent engravings for better visibility in low-light conditions. The focus ring has markings in both feet and metric; the ring may be reversed from one to the other by a qualified technician.
This Master Prime 150mm lens features a minimum focus distance of 4' 11", focus marks in metres, a relatively light weight of 8.8 pounds, and a compact length of 8.3". This family of lenses features consistent placement of focus, iris, and zoom rings for easier use with follow focus, zoom control, and F/I/Z wireless systems. Whilst most Master Primes have a uniform front diameter of 114 mm, the longer 150mm has a front diameter of 134 mm.
