Cooke Front Anamorphic/i SF Prime Lens - 100mm T2.3
All the anamorphic lens characteristics demanded by filmmakers today with the Cooke Look® and oval bokeh. This is the Cooke Anamorphic /i Look. Beautifully rendered images for film and particularly suited for use with digital cameras. The Anamorphic /i lens corrects aberrations exceptionally well across the entire image area - astigmatism, lateral and longitudinal colour - which will give shape, structure and soul to your images.
Whilst the "look" is crucial, precision engineering and seamless integration with other equipment are equally important. The Anamorphic /i prime lenses, available in ten focal lengths, are colour matched with our S4/i, 5/i and miniS4/i lenses.
Ideal for close-ups and product shots, the Cooke 65mm Macro Anamorphic /i 2X Prime lens has a magnification ratio of 4.1:1 with close focus of 5.5" from the front of the lens.
Now you have even more latitude. We've gone further with our new Anamorphic/i SF lenses which are specially manufactured with a coating allowing even more creative options. "SF" stands for Special Flair as they allow you to push flares, bokeh and other aberrations into new visual territories. Complementary to the Anamorphic/i lens series, they are offered in 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 135mm, 180mm and 300mm focal lengths.
The Anamorphic /i lenses offer superb optical and mechanical performance. Distortion, veiling glare, flares and all aberrations are controlled at all apertures across the entire field of view. Like our S4/i, 5/i and miniS4/i prime lenses, the cam-type focus mechanism enables smooth focus adjustments. Modular construction facilitates servicing and maintenance. The Anamorphic /i lenses are designed and manufactured by us to our traditional high standards in Leicester, England. Key Features

The Cooke Look® and colour matching with all other Cooke prime lenses.
Particularly well balanced for astigmatism and corrected for lateral and longitudinal aberrations across the entire image area
Linear iris
Equipped with the new generation of /i Squared* technology for lens metadata capture
Award-winning cam-type focus mechanism enabling smooth focus adjustments
Our Cooke Anamorphic/i Prime lenses are supplied with /i technology and are designed for all professional PL mount film cameras, both film and electronic. The /i technology provides directors of photography and camera operators with essential information about lens settings, focus distance, aperture and depth of field, hyperfocal distance, serial number, owner data, lens type and focal length in both metric and feet measurements. For zooms, the zoom position is displayed.

Key Features of Cooke Anamorphic /i Lenses
Optical Design
The optics are designed to deliver maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of flare, distortion and spherical aberration.
Electronics
Accessible via a connector near the lens mount and contacts in the mount that synchronise with /i compatible cameras and accessories.
Colour Balance
All Cooke Anamorphic/i lenses are colour balanced to Kodak approved specifications and are colour matched and compatible with Cooke 5/i, Cooke S4/i, miniS4/i lenses, and the CXX 15-40mm T2 S4/i zoom.
Aperture
All Cooke Anamorphic/i lenses have a true T2.3 aperture and cover Super 35mm format, except the 65mm MACRO which has a T2.6 aperture.
Index Marks
Each index mark is labelled. More detailed markings enable more precise focus control.
Focus Movement
Our Academy Award®-winning cam-type focus movement, combined with the advantage of a large lens body diameter, has enabled an increase in the number of focus marks, particularly in close focus. Spherical aberration has been controlled across the entire focal range to eliminate compensation for back-focus changes with aperture. A four-point contact bearing ensures smooth, backlash-free movement.
Focus Graduation
Large clear numbers on both sides of the focus barrel assist the focus puller when shooting in difficult lighting conditions. Additionally, the entrance pupil position is engraved on the lens.
Camera Mounts
Hardened Cooke PL mount with /i technology contacts.
Compatibility
All Cooke Anamorphic/i lenses have a common fixed front diameter of 110mm, except the 25, 65 MACRO and 300mm focal lengths and Anamorphic/i zooms, which are 136mm. All have a 134T x 0.8 iris gear.
External Finish
A hard anodised PTFE scratch-resistant finish is applied to all Cooke lenses, providing a durable and resistant surface to meet the most demanding environmental conditions.
Iris
An eleven-blade linear iris assembly is fitted in Cooke Anamorphic/i lenses with an aperture range of T2.3 to T22; T2.6 to T22 on the 65mm MACRO, T2.8 to T22 on the 180mm, and T3.5 to T22 on the 300mm.
Weight/Size Ratio
The lenses are designed for all shooting applications, including handheld and Steadicam, offering a comfortable balance ratio with the latest compact cameras.
Reliability and Service
Cooke Anamorphic/i lenses are designed to meet market requirements for reliable performance with minimum downtime.
