Our Cooke S7/i prime lenses are supplied with /i Technology and are designed for all professional film and electronic cinema cameras with PL mount. /i Technology provides directors of photography and camera operators with essential information on lens settings, focus distance, aperture and depth of field, hyperfocal distance, serial number, owner data, lens type and focal length in metric measurements and feet. For zooms, the zoom position is displayed.

Features 

Optical Design -- The optics are designed to deliver maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of veiling glare, distortion and spherical aberration. Lens electronics with Cooke /i Technology accessible via a connector near the lens mount and contacts in the mount that sync with /i-compatible cameras and accessories.

Colour Balance -- All Cooke S7/i prime lenses are colour-balanced, matched and compatible with Cooke S4/i, miniS4/i, Anamorphic/i and PANCHRO/i Classic lenses.

T2.0 Aperture -- Cooke S7/i prime lenses have a true T2.0 aperture and cover 35/Super 35mm, full frame and beyond.

Index Marks -- Each index mark is labelled. More detailed markings allow for more precise focus control.

Focus Movement -- Our Academy Award®-winning cam focus mechanism, combined with the advantage of a large lens body diameter, has increased the number of focus marks, particularly in close focus. Spherical aberration has been controlled across the entire focal range to eliminate compensation for back focus changes with aperture. A four-point contact bearing ensures smooth, positive movement without backlash.

Camera Mounts -- Hardened Cooke PL mount with /i Technology contact.

Focus Scale -- Large, clear numbers on both sides of the focus barrel make the camera assistant's job easier when shooting in challenging lighting conditions.

Compatibility -- All Cooke S7/i prime lenses have a common fixed front diameter of 110mm, with a 140T x 0.8 mod focus gear and 134T x 0.8 iris gear.

External Finish -- A PTFE hard anodised scratch-resistant finish is applied to all Cooke lenses, providing a durable and resistant surface to meet the most demanding environmental conditions.

Iris -- A nine-blade linear iris module is integrated into the Cooke S7/i prime lenses.

Weight/Size Ratio -- The lenses are designed for all shooting applications, including shoulder-mounted and Steadicam, offering a comfortable balance ratio with the latest compact cameras.
