Our Cooke S7/i lenses are supplied with /i Technology and are designed for all professional PL mount film and electronic cinema cameras. /i Technology provides cinematographers and camera operators with essential information about lens settings, focus distance, aperture and depth of field, hyperfocal distance, serial number, owner data, lens type and focal length in metric measurements and feet. For zoom lenses, the zoom position is displayed.

Features 

Optical Design -- The optics are designed to deliver maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of flare, distortion and spherical aberration. Lens Electronics Cooke /i Technology Accessible via a cable connector near the lens mount and contacts in the mount that synchronise with /i compatible cameras and accessories.

Colour Balance -- All Cooke S7/i lenses are colour balanced, colour matched and compatible with Cooke S4/i, miniS4/i, Anamorphic/i and PANCHRO/i Classic lenses.

T2.0 Aperture -- Cooke S7/i lenses have a true T2.0 aperture and cover 35/Super 35mm, full frame and beyond.

Index Marks -- Each index mark is labelled. More detailed markings allow more precise focus control.

Focus Movement -- Our Academy Award®-winning cam-type focus mechanism, combined with the additional advantage of a large lens barrel diameter, has enabled an increase in the number of focus marks, particularly for close focus. Spherical aberration has been controlled throughout the focal range to eliminate compensation for focus shift with aperture. A four-point contact bearing ensures smooth, positive and backlash-free movement.

Camera Mounts -- Reinforced Cooke PL mount with /i Technology contact.

Focus Scale -- Large, clear numbers on both sides of the focus barrel assist the focus puller when shooting in challenging lighting conditions.

Compatibility -- All Cooke S7/i lenses have a common fixed front diameter of 110mm, with a 140T x 0.8 mod focus drive gear and a 134T x 0.8 iris drive gear.

External Finish -- A scratch-resistant PTFE hard anodised finish is provided on all Cooke lenses, offering a durable and wear-resistant surface to meet the most demanding environmental conditions.

Iris -- A nine-blade linear iris assembly is fitted in Cooke S7/i lenses.

Weight/Size Ratio -- The lenses are designed for all shooting applications, including handheld and Steadicam shots, offering a comfortable balance ratio with the latest compact cameras.
