The Samyang 135mm T2.2ED UMC VDSLR Cine lens is the cine/video version of the Samyang 135mm f2.0 ED UMC lens, with the same excellent optics, but with an integrated clicked ring system for follow focus systems on video platforms. Full-frame compatible, it is suitable for interchangeable lens cameras and camcorders equipped with a 24x36mm (full-frame) or smaller sensor. The Samyang 135mm features a floating design, an extra-low dispersion (ED) optical element for maximum optical performance. A T2.2 circular aperture with 9 blades offers excellent bokeh for close-up portraits and short focal lengths. To ensure high contrast and faithful colour reproduction, all lens elements have been coated with Samyang's UMC multi-layer anti-reflection coatings. The lens design and coatings deliver remarkably low chromatic aberrations, ghosting and flare. Splendid image quality and shallow depth of field with natural and beautiful bokeh thanks to the use of 9 circular aperture blades make it particularly suited to cinema, where subject and background separation is sought. The Samyang 135mm lens is also available in standard version: the Samyang 135mm f2.0 ED UMC lens. The VDSLR version features de-clicked aperture and focus rings, perfectly suited to video and cinema use, and for mounting on follow focus systems. This manual focus cine telephoto lens is suitable for full-frame and cropped sensors. It delivers vivid colours and a smooth bokeh zone making it an excellent lens for portrait photography, night landscape, nature and journalism photography. Samyang's VDSLR versions are rated in T-Stops rather than F-stops, which is standard for cinema camera lenses. The F-stop number expresses the speed of the lens assuming the optics transmit 100% of the incident light. The T number expresses the actual light transmission, which is more accurate and is the standard for professional cinema lenses. Supplied with removable lens hood and front and rear caps. Filter diameter: 77mm Initially intended to be available in Canon, Nikon, Sony E and MFT mounts. The full range of mounts will include Canon EF, Nikon F (AE), Sony A, Sony E, Pentax K, Fujifilm X, Canon M, Samsung NX, Four Thirds and Micro Four Thirds (MFT) specifications
