The new Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS lens is an ultra wide-angle manual focus lens designed for cameras equipped with CS / APS-C sensors.

The Samyang 10mm is a compact fixed focal length ultra wide-angle lens offering excellent optical quality and exceptional resolution, as well as an excellent price-to-performance ratio, as one would expect from Samyang. Ideal for interior, architectural and landscape photography, the Samyang 10mm lens offers an exceptionally wide field of view of up to 109.5 degrees with a rectilinear image.

The Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS is the first lens from Samyang Optics to incorporate a brand new Nano Crystal System (NCS) anti-reflection coating. This new coating offers an even lower reflection factor than Samyang's UMC coatings. NCS coating technology provides a precise process for applying the anti-reflection coating more uniformly across the lens surface. The additional benefits offered by the nanocrystalline coating include improved light transmission and increased resistance to flare, resulting in maximum image contrast.

Combined with an f/2.8 aperture, considered fast for a wide-angle lens, it offers good low-light capabilities. The maximum aperture is f/22.

Like all Samyang lenses, the 10mm is very well built for a lens in its class. The optical construction comprises 14 elements arranged in 10 groups, including 2 AS aspherical lenses and one extra-low dispersion glass element. The Samyang 10mm is equipped with an integrated fixed lens hood.

Available in Canon EF, Sony A and E, Pentax, Samsung NX, Fujifilm, X-Mount, Canon M and Micro Four Thirds MFT mounts.
