The new Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS is an ultra wide-angle manual focus lens designed for cameras equipped with CS | APS-C sensors.

The Samyang 10mm is a compact lens, a fixed focal length super wide-angle offering excellent optical quality and exceptional resolution, as well as remarkable value for money, as one can expect from Samyang. Ideal for interior, architectural and landscape photography, the Samyang 10mm lens offers an exceptionally wide field of view of up to 109.5 degrees of rectilinear image.

The Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS is the first lens from Samyang Optics to incorporate a brand new Nano Crystalline anti-reflection coating system (NCS). This new coating offers an even lower reflection factor than Samyang's UMC coatings. The NCS coating technology provides a precise process for applying the anti-reflection coating more uniformly across the entire lens surface. Among the other benefits offered by the nanocrystalline layer are improved light transmission and increased flare resistance, resulting in maximum image contrast.

Combined with an f2.8 aperture, considered fast for a wide-angle lens of this type, it offers good low-light capabilities. Maximum aperture of f22.

Like all Samyang lenses, the 10mm is very well built for a lens in its category. The optical construction consists of 14 elements arranged in 10 groups, including 2 AS aspherical lenses and one extra-low dispersion glass element. The Samyang 10mm features an integrated fixed lens hood.
