One of the most compact and lightweight APS-C fisheye lenses in the world. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 UMC Fisheye is a high-quality ultra wide-angle lens with an immense field of view of 180 degrees. The special optical design with two aspherical elements and three ED lenses ensures optimum optical performance. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye features Samyang's latest generation Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) anti-reflective treatment to minimise reflections and ghosting. The integrated lens hood helps to reduce flare. Due to the very large depth of field of such a short focal length, the focusing distance can be easily achieved by simply setting the approximate distance on the lens distance scale. As with all manual focus lenses, it is advisable to use the camera's Live View mode in critical conditions to fine-tune the focus. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye is also suitable for creating 360-degree panoramas and virtual tours.
