The special optical design with two aspherical elements and three ED elements ensures optimal optical performance. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye benefits from Samyang's latest-generation Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) anti-reflection coating to minimise flare and ghosting. The integrated lens hood helps reduce reflections. Due to the very large depth of field of such a short focal length, focusing can easily be achieved by simply setting the approximate distance on the lens distance scale. As with all manual focus lenses, it is advisable to use the camera's Live View mode in critical conditions to fine-tune focus. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye is also suitable for creating 360-degree panoramas and virtual tours.
