One of the most compact and lightweight APS-C fisheye lenses in the world. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 UMC Fisheye is a high-quality ultra wide-angle lens with an enormous field of view of 180 degrees. The special optical design with two aspherical elements and three ED elements ensures optimal optical performance. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye benefits from Samyang's latest generation Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) anti-reflection coating to minimise reflections and ghosting. The built-in lens hood helps to reduce stray light reflections. Due to the very great depth of field of such a short focal length, the focusing distance can be easily achieved by simply setting the approximate distance on the lens distance scale. As with all manual focus lenses, it is advisable to use the camera's Live View mode in critical conditions to fine-tune the focus. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye is also suitable for creating panoramas and 360-degree virtual tours.
