The special optical design with two aspherical elements and three ED elements ensures optimum optical performance. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye benefits from Samyang's latest generation Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) anti-reflection treatment to minimise reflections and ghosting. The built-in lens hood helps reduce unwanted reflections. Due to the very large depth of field of such a short focal length, focus can easily be achieved by simply adjusting the approximate distance on the lens distance scale. As with all manual focus lenses, it is advisable to use the camera's Live View mode in critical conditions to fine-tune focus. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye is also suitable for creating panoramas and 360-degree virtual tours.
