One of the most compact and lightweight APS-C fisheye lenses in the world. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 UMC Fisheye is a high-quality ultra wide-angle lens with an impressive 180-degree field of view. The special optical design with two aspherical elements and three ED elements ensures optimum optical performance. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye is equipped with Samyang's latest generation Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) anti-reflective coating to minimise lens flare and ghosting. The built-in lens hood helps to reduce flare. Due to the very large depth of field of such a short focal length, focus can easily be achieved by simply setting the approximate distance on the lens distance scale. As with all manual focus lenses, it is advisable to use the camera's Live View mode in critical conditions to fine-tune focus. The Samyang 8mm F2.8 Fisheye is also suitable for creating panoramas and 360-degree virtual tours.
