19x250 mm aluminium rod

The 250 mm threaded rod (19 mm) from Tilta is a 250 mm rod with female threads at both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to increase the length.

According to standard practice, Tilta bevels one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The beveling makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the straight-cut end allows for a smoother junction between rods.


The rod is made from machined aluminium for a balance between weight and strength, then black anodised to resist wear and corrosion. Please note that there is no industry standard for support rod threading, so when choosing optional rod extensions, it is best to stay within the same brand.
