This pair of Chrosziel 15mm (5.9-9.1") VariTube support rods allows you to easily extend the length of your camera support — without purchasing additional parts. Add a long telephoto lens and extend the rods for adequate support. With a quarter turn, the internal clamp of the telescopic rod is released and you can extend or retract the rod. These rods have a variable length of 5.9 to 9.1". There is a "cap" at the end of the rod measuring 0.8" long; this section has a standard 15mm diameter for attaching a lens hood or another accessory, or for attaching to a camera base plate. The extension is made from solid aluminium and fits perfectly inside the outer rod, which is also made from robust aluminium. The VariTube construction allows easy adjustment with smooth sliding even when the rods are supporting a load.
