A miniature version of DeSisti's larger fixtures, the Piccoletto VW Bi-Colour LED Fresnel Light features a 3-inch borosilicate lens, and at just 0.95 kg, it lives up to its name - which means "little guy" in Italian. Its impressive spot-flood adjustment range of 18 to 80° provides both hard spot lighting effects for long throws and wide coverage. The Piccoletto uses a high-power 30W COB LED array that delivers single, sharp shadow performance like its traditional tungsten counterparts. The Piccoletto's extended colour range is variable from 2800 to 6600K, whilst dimming is also adjustable from 0 to 100%. The high CRI/TLCI rating of 95/96 attests to its advanced colour rendering accuracy. Whilst you can make these adjustments locally on the unit, you can also control them remotely from a console via integrated DMX. In fact, you can daisy-chain up to 32 units in DMX for use in large installations. The unit features advanced functionality that one would expect from a manufacturer of DeSisti's calibre. The linear bearing sliding focus mechanism ensures smooth operation during focusing, regardless of tilt angle. Self-stabilising active cooling uses an internal thermal sensor and CPU to activate a near-silent low-speed fan to maintain the LEDs at a maximum of 140 degrees. Structural integrity is ensured by robust yet lightweight aluminium construction with reinforced internal double walls. Four-leaf barn doors are supplied with the unit to enable selective lighting. The Piccoletto is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 90-250V power supply.
