The Kelvin Epos 300 RGB LED Monolight from Rift Labs is a 300W equivalent LED monolight with power control that regulates its output with 0.1% precision. It is manufactured with meticulous attention to detail to ensure it exceeds expectations, both for photography and video. It is built around the Cantastoria engine, which does not use white LEDs. Instead, it uses red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime, giving an infinite palette of precisely mixed light. The RGBACL light engine design offers a wider CCT range and can produce more saturated colours with more power compared to RGBWW lights. This wide range of colour control offers both gel effects and customisable lighting effects for greater versatility, suitable for any lighting requirement. The lighting head features a solid 6mm aluminium housing that exceeds structural requirements, conducts heat away from the light better, and is more robust than creaky plastic. It features a classic Bowens S reflector mount, making it compatible with a wide range of available light modifiers. The control box offers a combination of 5" LED touchscreen and analogue controls, and allows the Epos 300 to be controlled remotely via the free Kelvin Narrator app for iOS or Android. It also offers wired DMX and Lumen Radio wireless DMX control options. It supports multi-voltage operation for worldwide use, and incorporates two V-Mount battery plates for use in locations where mains power is not available. Note: V-Mount batteries and battery chargers are sold separately. This kit includes a multifunctional Epos wheeled case made of durable ballistic nylon. Kelvin D90 Medium Diffuser for Epos LED Monolight This Kelvin D90 medium diffuser creates a more flattering image by diffusing the output of the Epos monolight's COB LED light source. The diffused light disperses light evenly over a subject and softens shadows, producing a more flattering image. The medium-grade D90 diffuser offers slightly thicker diffusion but with minimal light loss of less than 0.2 stops. It slightly extends the beam angle, making it a good choice for use with large softboxes or with less precise optical accessories. Kelvin D75 Heavy Diffuser for Epos LED Monolight This Kelvin D75 heavy diffuser creates a more flattering image by diffusing the output of the Epos monolight's COB LED light source. The diffused light disperses light evenly over a subject and softens shadows, producing a more flattering image. The heavy-grade D75 diffuser is the thickest of the Epos diffusers, while maintaining minimal light loss of less than 0.2 stops. It widens the beam by a few degrees, making it an appropriate choice for use with smaller softboxes or when optical accessories require a wider beam for optimal performance. Kelvin Dome Diffuser for Epos 300 LED Monolight The Kelvin Dome Diffuser is a light modifier for the Epos 300 LED monolight. It can be used in conjunction with umbrellas, parabolic accessories or softboxes. It allows the light output to spread into a very wide 180-degree beam angle. The dome creates a point light source, which makes the most of the silver in softboxes and other modifiers in the same way a tungsten bulb would traditionally. It creates the same beautiful wrapping light found with traditional lighting modifiers. Kelvin Umbrella Mount Kit for Epos 300 LED Monolights This Kelvin Epos umbrella mount kit quickly attaches to the Epos monolight chassis and allows practically any type and size of umbrella to be attached. The large clamps make it easy to adjust the umbrella and secure it in place. These mounts allow umbrellas to be used in combination with Epos dome diffusers and other modifiers.
