Kino Flo's innovative new Celeb 450Q DMX LED is a soft, cool LED ideally suited to today's growing demands for portable, energy-efficient LED lighting with precise colour correction.

Celeb has been developed using the latest technology to conform to Kino Flo's highest standards – cool, colour-corrected, flicker-free and completely silent, which sets the Celeb apart from all other LEDs.

The Kino Flo Celeb 450Q LED also comes with standard DMX and wireless DMX (Lumen Radio®), 24VDC input, and universal mains input 100-240VAC (1.1 Amp at 240V). We have also recently added new SnapBag Softbox and SnapGrid accessories.

The Celeb's slim profile is lightweight and mounts on a baby stand or can be hung from a grid with a baby pipe clamp.

Main Features


LED Technology
As with all Kino Flo products, the soft, bright colour of the Celeb has been specially formulated to match the spectral distribution curves of film and HD video cameras. With a high colour rendering index (CRI 95), the Celeb remains cool and flicker-free, even during dimming, and maintains its True Match® colour temperature without any colour shift.

Control
The Celeb is the most controllable LED Softlight on the market.

The Celeb 450Q has three menu options, one white and two colour menus. Those who prefer to work with white light can use the "white menu" which gives the user access to Dimming, Kelvin and Green/Magenta control channels. The Kelvin range goes from 2700K tungsten to 6500K daylight. In the colour menu, the Kelvin range goes from 2500K tungsten to 9900K daylight, and Kino Flo has implemented a fourth channel called Gel. The Gel channel includes Kino Flo presets such as blue and green screen, sodium vapour, mercury vapour and over 100 well-known lighting gels. In addition, there is also a fifth channel called Hue Angle and a sixth channel, Saturation. These two channels behave like a traditional colour wheel, where you have white light in the centre, and the hue angle determines the colour over a 360-degree range, and Saturation determines the amount of colour applied. The second colour menu offers individual red, green, blue (RGB) control. The RGB menu is an excellent way to work with applications that have RGB presets or predetermined colour wheels.

Light Intensity
The Celeb offers full dimming from 100 to 0% without colour shift.

Light Control
The Celeb has a beam angle of 160° and comes with a 90° honeycomb. Kino Flo's high-quality plastic honeycomb controls and focuses the light, reducing light spill with minimal loss. A 60° honeycomb is also available as an accessory. Barndoors are sold in sets of 4. They are designed to be mounted individually.

Thermal Management Design
No fans, completely silent, fully passive cooling.

For Kino Flo, thermal management is a critical element of fixture design. Physical heat or heat build-up in the LED fixture will directly influence colour temperature, light performance and LED lifespan. The Celeb's unique design stays cool, consumes very little power and is properly ventilated to maintain stable colour temperature. A well-maintained temperature extends the retention of light output, colour temperature and LED lifespan.
