The Kino Flo 4Bank 60cm fixture is a 4-lamp fluorescent light that produces the equivalent of a 500W softlight whilst consuming a fraction of the electricity of a traditional fixture. Used with a standard or DMX ballast (sold separately), the fixture features a 2 or 4 lamp switching system to vary the power, as well as standard and high-output settings to avoid the colour shifts associated with dimming. Unlike other ballasts, Kino Flo's optional ballasts can be placed up to 23 metres from the head without loss of power, thus solving the problem of adjustments when lighting is suspended at height. Optional True Match lamps, which offer a high CRI of 95, are available in colour temperatures of 3200K or 5600K.
