The Kino Flo 4' 4Bank fixture is a 4-lamp fluorescent light that produces the equivalent of a 1,000W softlight whilst consuming a fraction of the electrical power of a traditional fixture. When used with a standard or DMX ballast (sold separately), the fixture features a 2 or 4 lamp switch to vary the output power as well as standard and high-output settings to avoid the colour shift associated with dimming. Unlike other ballasts, Kino Flo's optional ballasts can be placed up to 23 metres from the head without loss of power, thus solving the problem of adjustments when the fixture is suspended at height. Optional True Match lamps with a high CRI of 95 are available in colour temperatures of 3200K or 5600K.
