Matthews Artificial Fabric 45.72 cm x 60.96 cm - White Open-end frames are made of spring steel with a 3/8" end piece and bracket that can be used to hang the Scrim on a C-Stand leg handle when not in use. The two vertical arms of the frame are split at both open ends to hold the piano wire woven through the fabric to form the fourth side of the frame without creating shadows. Open ends are used to control or manipulate light falling on certain areas of the set or subject. They can be used to soften or reduce light without creating a visible edge. A coloured border is used around the frame to identify the fabric. Matthews open-end frames are black powder-coated to minimise unwanted reflections.
