To keep weight to a minimum whilst achieving maximum strength, all MSE full frames are manufactured from 3/8" thin-walled tubing. The mounting pin is a solid rod. The 48" x 48" frames are manufactured with two "ears" at the bottom to protect the fabric when the frames are slid in and out of their storage boxes or can be used as attachment points under certain conditions. The full frames are black powder coated to minimise reflections.
