Designed for close-up shooting, the Panasonic Lumix G Macro 30mm f/2.8 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. is a 60mm equivalent prime lens designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless digital cameras. Its macro capabilities allow for a minimum focusing distance of 10.4cm as well as a 1:1 magnification ratio for life-size imaging of close subjects. An aspherical element helps control spherical aberrations and distortions, whilst a multi-layer coating reduces ghosting and flare for increased contrast and colour fidelity.

In addition to optical performance, the lens also features a MEGA O.I.S. system, which compensates for the effects of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. A stepping AF motor and internal focusing design provide fast, smooth and near-silent focusing performance, and the seven-blade rounded aperture contributes to pleasing background blur quality when using selective focus techniques and shallow depth of field.

- 30mm prime lens equivalent to 60mm focal length with Micro Four Thirds cameras.

- Macro design offers life-size 1:1 magnification ratio and 10.4cm minimum focusing distance for working with close-up subjects.

- An aspherical element helps reduce spherical aberrations and distortion for greater sharpness and more accurate rendering.

- Multi-layer coating controls reflections and ghosting for increased contrast and neutral colours.

- Stepping AF motor and internal focusing design offer smooth and silent focusing performance, suitable for both photo and video use.

- MEGA optical image stabiliser minimises the appearance of camera shake to facilitate handheld shooting in challenging lighting conditions.

- Seven-blade rounded aperture produces pleasing background blur quality when using selective focus techniques and shallow depth of field.
