The Chrosziel 456-30 Academy Matte Box (3 filter holders) consists of a 456-30 matte box, a French flag, a filter stage for 3 individual rotating filter holders, three 4 x 5.65 / 5 x 5 filter holders, a 130 mm clamp rear plate and a mounting bracket for 15 mm lightweight support rods. It is ideal for use with portable cameras and professional studio cameras.

The Matte Box 456-30 offers a wide-angle housing (16:9 / 4:3) for lenses as wide as 14 mm (35 mm Academy) and eliminates vignetting effects. Equipped with a filter stage for 3 independent 4 x 5.650 / 5 x 5 rotating filter holders, the matte box provides sufficient room to adjust filter positioning.

Supplied with a French flag, the 456-30 Academy Matte Box controls the angle of light and eliminates lens flares and halos, and it can be paired with optional side flags for precise light adjustment. The kit includes a 130 mm clamp rear plate and a mounting bracket for use with 15 mm lightweight support rods (optional).

With optional base plate adapters, you can connect the kit with 15 mm or 19 mm base plate rods. An optional tilt bracket, attached to the rear of the matte box housing, allows for quick and efficient lens changes.
