The Chrosziel Follow Focus, LWS & MB450R2 DSLR Matte Box kit is designed to be mounted on Canon EOS 5D, Nikon D800 & D90, Panasonic DMC-GH3 and Blackmagic Pocket cameras. The kit includes a 450-R21 two-stage matte box with French flag, a 450-20 110:75 flexible reduction ring, a 450-22 110:50 flexible reduction ring, a 401-453 LWS 15 HD DSLR base plate with 12" rods, a 206-60S DV Studio Plus system, a 206-12 focus drive and three 206-30 MK II flexible gear rings.



MB 450R2 Matte Box

Lightweight, robust and production-ready, the Chrosziel MB 450R2 matte box can complement a wide range of cameras, from small camcorders or mirrorless cameras to large cinema cameras and ENG camcorders with an outer lens diameter of up to 114 mm (lenses with a diameter smaller than 110 mm may require additional accessories for full compatibility). Thanks to the included top flag and 16:9 mask, reflections from outside the frame can be effectively controlled to improve contrast and reduce ghosting in the recorded image. Additional control can be achieved with the separately available side and bottom flags.

Insert your preferred filters into the available stages for additional creative control. The rear stage accepts only 4x4" filters, while the front stage accepts 4x4 as well as larger 4x5.65" filters. Both stages are rotating, allowing the use and control of polarising and graduated filters. For additional possibilities, the MB 450R2 can be upgraded in the future with a separately available third rotating filter stage.

To use this matte box on your camera, it must be mounted on a separately available LWS 15 mm base plate. Slide the matte box onto the rods until it covers the front of the lens. Rod-mounted matte boxes are preferred over quick-release matte boxes in many production situations as they are always correctly aligned with the image horizon.


AC-450-22 Flexi-Ring Flexible Reduction Ring (110:50-85 mm)

The Chrosziel AC-450-22 Flexi-Ring flexible reduction ring is an adjustable 110:50-85 mm reduction ring. The ring is designed to work with their MB-450 matte box series and will fit a variety of wide-angle lenses.

- Compatible with the MB-450 matte box system for wide-angle lenses between 50-85 mm.

- The flexible material makes it easily adjustable.


AC-450-20 Flexi-Ring Flexible Reduction Ring (110:75-98 mm)

The Chrosziel AC-450-20 Flexi-Ring flexible reduction ring is an adjustable 110:75-98 mm reduction ring. The ring is designed to work with their MB-450 matte box series and will fit a variety of wide-angle lenses.

- Compatible with the MB-450 matte box system for wide-angle lenses between 75-98 mm.

- The flexible material makes it easily adjustable.


LWS 15 HD DSLR Base Plate with 12" Rods

The Chrosziel LWS 15 HD DSLR base plate with 12" rods is a 15 mm rod support plate for DSLRs comprising a pair of 15 mm rod clamps and 12" rods. To prevent your camera from rotating, the plate also includes an anti-rotation block. The height of the plate can be adjusted using the included spacers, making it suitable for cameras such as the Canon EOS-5D, Nikon D800, Nikon D90, Panasonic DMC-GH3 and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. The plate can also be adjusted for use with larger camera bodies by removing the spacers. Shorter M5 x 45 mm screws, an Allen key and a guide with camera height markings are included.


DV Studio Rig Plus

The Chrosziel DV Studio Rig Plus is a follow focus with a padded non-slip manual wheel, a VariLock with 2 adjustable hard stops, freewheel and scale for one-sided use. The extended range for a lens diameter of up to 130 mm (measured with the gear drive) is not included.


206-12 Focus Gear Drive (0.8 gear pitch)

The Chrosziel 206-12 is a focus gear drive with a 0.8 pitch for the Chrosziel 206-01S follow focus system. It features a standard 0.8 pitch gear ring for use with cinema-style lenses.


MK II Flexible Gear Ring (single)

The Chrosziel MK II flexible gear ring is an adjustable flexible gear ring with a diameter of 60 to 120 mm. The ring features a standard 0.8 pitch gear ring, allows approximately 310° of rotation and can be quickly attached to and removed from lenses.
