Sony SF-M Tough SDXC 256 GB UHS-II 277 MB/s
Sony's SF-M Tough series 256 GB SDXC UHS-II memory card offers 256 GB of storage capacity and uses the UHS-II bus to support advanced DSLR functions such as continuous bursts and rapid shooting, as well as RAW and JPEG captures. This card is also well suited to video capture, including 4K, Full HD and 3D video. It can achieve maximum read speeds of 277 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 150 MB/s. Thanks to its V60 speed rating, write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 60 MB/s.
To facilitate the use of the card in almost any environment and ensure the security of your content, Sony has designed the Tough series with a robust design that can withstand drops of up to 5m, immersion of up to 5m for 72 hours, and is resistant to bending and dust, as well as extreme temperatures from -25 to 85°C. The Tough series is also up to 18 times stronger than standard SD media (180N versus 10N) and features a one-piece moulded construction without ribs and without a write protection switch, further contributing to protection against physical damage that can affect SD cards, such as a broken plastic casing, a broken data protection lock and broken connector ribs. If the card's data is compromised, you also have the option to download the File Rescue software free of charge to help recover deleted content.
UHS-II media achieves its speed through an additional row of pins, and whilst this card has been designed for UHS-II / V60 compatible cameras, it can be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V60. However, bear in mind that this card will then use your device's speed class and bus, such as UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with U1 and Class 10 standards, which each guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s. When used in a UHS-I device, this card offers read speeds of up to 95 MB/s and write speeds of up to 90 MB/s.

When shooting in challenging environments, this card will meet the needs of a wide range of professional photographers and videographers, as well as photography enthusiasts, as they are robust enough for extreme shooting conditions. With uncompromising reliability and fast speeds, you have all the performance you need to capture the action.
Increased bend resistance
A robust resin-moulded design makes these cards 18 times more resistant to bending than the SD standard.
IP68 water and dust resistant
This card can be immersed in 5 metres of water for up to 72 hours, and it is also dust resistant. It's complete protection for shooting in almost any conditions.
Shock resistant - Withstands drops of up to 5 metres

One-piece moulded design
With a one-piece moulded design and high-durability materials, this card offers professionals and photography enthusiasts peace of mind and protection wherever their shoots take them.
Ribless design, without write protection switch
In designing this card, Sony has eliminated the fragile connector ribs and write protection switch found on conventional SD cards - parts that are easy to break and can prevent writing.
A speed you can rely on
Whether you're a professional photographer taking high-resolution images, a videographer working in 4K on a documentary, or a photography enthusiast exploring remote landscapes, this card offers the speed you need to capture the action. It enables rapid buffer clearance after burst shooting and efficiently transfers content to a computer.
Fast write speeds
With write speeds of up to 150 MB/s, this card enables longer burst shooting of high-resolution photos, as well as faster buffer clearance.
Fast data backup and transfer
Spend more time filming and less time transferring or backing up. With read speeds of up to 277 MB/s, you can quickly transfer large media files to a computer.
Optimised for high-resolution video with V60
Sony's SF-M media supports the V60 video speed class for stable 4K recording and high-bitrate video capture. It is ideal for filming all kinds of high-resolution video.
SD Scan Utility
The downloadable SD Scan utility automatically scans your SD card's memory, keeping you informed of its status so you can take action before reaching its limit.
File Rescue
Even when things go wrong, you can avoid disaster with the downloadable File Rescue software that recovers photo and video files that have been accidentally deleted or cannot be read.
