The Rycote INV-Lite 21 boom-mounted shock mount is a discreet and compact system that isolates short shotgun microphones (21 mm diameter) from shocks and handling noise when mounted on a boom pole. It is optimised for indoor broadcast and film applications where the use of a boom pole with full wind protection is not necessary. Sleek, ergonomic and well-balanced, the lightweight INV-Lite 21 (112 g) features the patented cam lever mounting system with a wide Lyre suspension. Its unique design allows quick access to the microphone and ensures that the cancellation slots remain free from obstruction, thus improving sound quality and directivity. It also allows for full placement of a 12 cm foam windshield (sold separately), to protect against plosives and slight boom movements.
