PortaBrace Audio Tactical Vest
The PortaBrace ATV-MIXPRE6 is a military-style audio tactical vest designed to securely hold and provide convenient access to a Sound Devices MixPre-6 recorder and associated accessories for sound recordists, mixers, and boom operators in ENG, television, video production, and field recording. Combining the functionality of a bag and harness, this adjustable vest offers comfortable support and even weight distribution while maintaining mobility and equipment access. The padding minimises fatigue, and the mesh back ensures breathability. Attach your most frequently used items to the front of the vest, and store less necessary content at the back. An NP1 pocket provides a consistent location for your batteries, with additional storage through an iPad pouch, phone and pen holders, and a rain cover that can serve as an extra pocket. Between recordings, a dedicated clip can hold your boom pole to allow your arms to rest.
