The Porta Brace AO-ZOOMF8S "SILENT" Pro Audio Bag organiser for field recorders (black) is designed for use with field audio mixers and silent connectors. Lightweight yet robust construction — the type that professionals expect from us here in Vermont — are also key features of the audio organiser.

The bag remains silent during recording thanks to its virtually silent magnetic connectors. It is also equipped with zip fasteners with rubber pull tabs, which prevent metal-on-metal noise. Other well-thought-out details include fully detachable side panels for easy access to the mixer's inputs and outputs, and MOLLE straps to conveniently hold receivers, cables, earphones and more. You will also find pockets on each side, as well as a zippered bottle holder. Additionally, the Piggin' String helps manage long coils of cables and extension leads.

A lightweight yet robust aluminium frame ensures a sturdy case that won't slow you down. In fact, this audio organiser, weighing 2.7 lbs, weighs nearly half the weight of competing cases. The exterior is made from durable, water-resistant 1000-denier Cordura, protecting it from the elements and the most demanding environments. The interior keeps your equipment safe with its soft, protective material. Two padded dividers provide additional security. One of the cushions also features a removable elastic holder that can accommodate up to 3 wireless transmitters.

To carry the bag, durable nylon handles with suede ensure a reliable grip. The case can also be carried using the comfortable and adjustable HB-10M suede shoulder strap. The D-rings allow attachment to a harness. You can be sure that, like all other Porta Brace cases, this one has been manufactured in our Vermont factory and will last for many years.

The 2 included padded interior dividers provide additional security, as well as more options for securing your equipment. A large front pocket can hold all additional equipment, while horizontal MOLLE nylon straps sewn onto the bag, attached to the pocket, allow the user to hook or hang receivers, cables, earphones, etc. onto the bag. Both sides of the AO-SILENT feature fully detachable side panels for easy access to the mixer's inputs and outputs. You will also find transmitter pouches on each side, as well as a zippered bottle holder. The included Piggin' String helps manage long coils of thick cables and extension leads.

Carrying options

The SILENT series audio organiser case features durable nylon handles with a suede grip for carrying. The adjustable HB-10M suede shoulder strap is comfortable, even for extended wear, and removable. Sound engineers with their own harness can attach the case to it using the D-rings.
