The PortaBrace AO-644S "SILENT" Audio Organiser professional audio bag for field recorders (Black) is designed for use with audio field mixers and silent closures. Lightweight yet robust construction - the type of quality that professionals expect from us here in Vermont - is also one of the Audio Organiser's key features.

The bag remains silent during recording thanks to its virtually silent magnetic closures. It is also equipped with zips featuring rubber pulls, which prevent metal-on-metal noise. Other thoughtful touches include fully detachable side panels for easy access to mixer inputs and outputs, and a MOLLE system for easily securing receivers, cables, headphones, etc. You will also find pockets on each side, as well as a zipped water bottle holder. Additionally, the Piggin' String helps manage long rolls of cables and extension leads.

A lightweight yet robust aluminium frame ensures a solid case that won't slow you down. Indeed, this audio organiser, weighing 2.7 lb, weighs almost half the weight of competing cases. The exterior is made of durable waterproofed 1000 denier Cordura, protecting it from weather and the harshest environments. The interior protects your equipment thanks to its soft and protective material. Two padded dividers offer additional security. One cushion also features a removable wireless elastic support that can accommodate up to 3 wireless units.

To carry the bag, durable nylon handles with suede ensure a reliable grip. The case can also be carried using the comfortable and adjustable HB-10M suede shoulder strap. Thanks to the numerous storage options, there is also enough space for multiple receivers. A large front pocket can hold any additional equipment, while the MOLLE system - nylon webbing sewn horizontally onto the bag - attached to the pocket allows the user to hook or hang receivers, cables, headphones, etc., onto the bag. Both sides of the AO-SILENT have fully detachable side panels for easy access to mixer inputs and outputs. You will also find transmitter pockets on each side, as well as a zipped water bottle holder. The included Piggin' String helps manage long rolls of thick cables and extension leads.

Carrying options

The SILENT Audio Organiser series case is made with durable nylon handles with a suede grip. The adjustable HB-10M suede shoulder strap is comfortable, even for prolonged wear, and removable. Sound engineers with their own harness can attach the case to it using the D-rings.
