PortaBrace Lightweight and Silent Audio Organizer Case
The PortaBrace AO-1SILENT "SILENT" Audio Organizer professional audio bag for field recorders (Black) is designed for use with field audio mixers and silent connectors. Lightweight yet robust construction – the kind that professionals expect from us here in Vermont – are also key features of the Audio Organizer.
The bag keeps things silent during recording thanks to its almost silent magnetic fasteners. It also features zippers with rubber ends, which prevent metal-on-metal noise. Other thoughtful touches include fully detachable side panels for easy access to the mixer's inputs and outputs, and MOLLE straps to easily hold receivers, cables, headphones and more. You'll also find transmitter pouches on each side, as well as a zipped water bottle holder. Additionally, the Piggin' String lends a hand for long cable rolls and extension leads.
A lightweight yet solid aluminium frame ensures a robust case that won't weigh you down. Indeed, this Audio Organizer, weighing 1.22 kg, weighs almost half the weight of competing cases. The exterior is made from durable, waterproofed 1000 denier Cordura, protecting it from the elements and the harshest environments. The interior keeps your equipment safe thanks to its soft and protective material. Two padded dividers offer additional security. One cushion also features a removable elastic wireless holder that can accommodate up to 3 wireless units.
Regarding carrying the bag, durable nylon handles with suede ensure a reliable grip. The case can also be carried using the comfortable and adjustable HB-10M suede shoulder strap. D-rings allow it to be attached to a harness. You can be sure that, like all other PortaBrace cases, this one has been manufactured in our Vermont factory and will last for many years.

The interior is as soft as the exterior is robust, ensuring the protection of your audio equipment. The 2 included padded interior dividers offer additional security, as well as more options for securing your equipment. One cushion also features a removable elastic wireless holder that can hold up to 3 wireless units.

As its name suggests, the SILENT series Audio Organizer case is designed to be silent during recording, and is intended for use with field audio mixers and recorders fitted with silent connectors. The bag achieves this through silent magnetic fasteners. It also features zippers with rubber ends that prevent metal-on-metal noise during recording.
Pockets and Other Storage
This case is a large standalone unit, specially designed for audio recorders and mixers with silent connectors. Thanks to the numerous storage options, there is also ample room for multiple receivers. A large front pocket can hold any additional equipment, whilst the MOLLE – horizontal nylon straps sewn onto the bag – attached to the pocket allows the user to hook or hang receivers, cables, headphones, etc. onto the bag. Both sides of the AO-SILENT feature fully detachable side panels for easy access to the mixer's inputs and outputs. You'll also find transmitter pouches on each side, as well as a zipped water bottle holder. The included Piggin' String lends a hand for long thick cable rolls and extension leads.
Transport Options
The SILENT series Audio Organizer case is made with durable nylon handles featuring a suede grip for carrying. The adjustable HB-10M suede shoulder strap is comfortable, even for prolonged wearing, and removable. Sound engineers with their own harness can attach the case to it using the D-rings.
