The trilaminate fabric is made of polyester with a PVC inner lining and shock-resistant padding. The front grille allows sound to pass through without affecting sound quality, providing adequate protection during sound reinforcement applications. The rear access cover helps protect the panel from water while ensuring amplifier cooling. In addition, the Yamaha SPCVR-DXS18X features handle slots for easy access when carrying, as well as a cable pouch for transporting cables and other accessories.
