The Armoured Light Case is a padded wheeled transport case and backpack featuring a lightweight armoured inner shell. The case is extremely robust and can be used for daily fieldwork or for intensive travel and expeditions as an alternative to heavy rigid ABS plastic cases. The foldable backpack straps free your hands and make carrying heavy lighting kits more comfortable. The ALC is ideal for transporting multiple lighting heads such as the Arrilite 575+, 700+ and 2000+, stands and accessories. The exterior of the case is made from abrasion-resistant 1000-denier Cordura® nylon. There are two (2) full-length external pockets for storing cables and other items. Each external side also features two (2) 50 cm zipped pockets. There is also a transparent vinyl window for displaying a pass, business card or any other identification. A single heavy-duty YKK® zip runs the full length of the case for quick and easy access to your lighting kit. A Cordura® zip guard extends the life of the zip and helps prevent rain or water from entering the case. Inside, there are four (4) padded hanging pockets to provide extra protection for lighting during transport. Four (4) padded dividers are included to separate and organise lighting heads and accessories. Comfortable suede handles are provided for carrying and an additional set of suede handles is attached to the sides of the case for lifting heavy loads and removing them from vehicles. The ALC is fitted with all-terrain castor-type wheels with ball bearings for smooth rolling on almost any surface. The wheels are attached to solid steel plates for increased strength and are removable to prevent them from catching and being damaged during shipping and airline baggage check-in.
