The Neumann EA 87 is designed for the U 87 Ai microphone. It features a swivel attachment with a 5/8"-27 female thread that can be attached to tripods. A threaded adapter is included for connection to 1/2" and 3/8" stands. This model has a Nickel (silver) finish. - Highly durable - Reduces low-frequency "thumps" transmitted by structures via the microphone stand. - Excellent and safe way to mount this delicate and sensitive microphone on any type of support during recording. - NOTE: Due to the sensitivity of the microphone, it is strongly recommended to use this shock mount with the U87 during ALL recording processes.
