The Koala Mini-Max is designed for directional camera microphones. It attaches directly to standard foam windshields of 120, 130, 160 and 190 mm in length. Suitable for all Beta-Cam type broadcast microphones, from the full-size MKH416 to external Handy-cam type microphones. They can also be used on a 416-type directional microphone held by a reporter in the field or mounted on a boom pole. Only the "Koala MiniMaX" windshields are equipped with the "anti-slip strap" that prevents the windshield mounted on the camera from falling during use or transport, a common problem with other brands. Fully lined and with a dense 30 mm long fur, it offers excellent wind protection at a very attractive price.
