The Panasonic Lumix G9 II body only (DC-G9M2E) is the improved, mark 2 version of Panasonic's superb Micro Four Thirds (MFT) mirrorless camera system, equipped with a new sensor and Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF) technology. The LUMIX G9II is the first camera in the Micro Four Thirds LUMIX G Series to feature PDAF technology. It features high-speed burst shooting, the new G9 mark 2 model boasts significantly improved power and high-speed performance. The 25.2-megapixel Live MOS Sensor and new engine produce high-resolution images in outstanding quality with rich colour tonality, while the hybrid PDAF technology enables accurate auto-focus and high-speed tracking of fast-moving subjects. Burst shooting at 60 fps in AFC mode and SH pre-burst recording that begins before the shutter is released ensures that the perfect moment is captured, even when photographing dynamically moving subjects.
The Panasonic G9 II is the first G-series Lumix camera to offer Phase Hybrid AF for fast and precise autofocusing performance. The G9II features new AI-powered recognition technology for extremely fast auto-focus recognition that recognises cars, motorcycles, and animal eyes for precise subject recognition. The camera also features 75 fps burst shooting with a pre-burst shooting function, to go back in time up to 1.5 seconds ton ensue the perfect image is captured.
LUMIX’s popular image stabilization system is further improved, combining 8-stop B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer), with Dual I.S. 2 (7.5-stop) with advanced Active I.S. for incredible video image stabilisation.
