The PreSonus ATOM is a versatile and portable MIDI controller for production and performance, well-suited for artists, DJs and producers. The ATOM is a USB 2.0 pad-based controller compatible with most major DAWs, whilst offering direct hardware integration with PreSonus Studio One software and Ableton Live, enabling virtual instrument and preset navigation, loop point creation and timeline navigation, tempo control, MIDI editing and quantisation, zoom, transport control, and more.
The ATOM features 16 full-size performance pads sensitive to velocity and pressure, each backlit by RGB LEDs. Pressure control can be switched between MIDI aftertouch, channel pressure and continuous controller (CC) messages. Additionally, the pads offer selectable velocity curves and pad pressure thresholds. Other features include 20 assignable buttons and four endless rotary encoders. Furthermore, there are three operating modes, including MIDI keyboard, note repeat and full velocity.
The ATOM comes with Studio One Artist software and includes custom loop content designed by MVP Loops. The PreSonus ATOM is USB-powered via your Mac or PC and includes a standard USB 2.0 cable. A copy of Ableton Live 10 Lite is also included.
