The S2-MPPM panel is equipped with two fast-reading galvanometers with a PPM-type scale.

The PPMs have a scale from 1 to 7 and are configured so that a 1 kHz signal at 0 dB at the PGM output will indicate a reading of 4 on the VU meter. Each graduation on the PPM scale indicates a signal level variation of 4 dB.
