The PVML-SCX1 licence is a signal conversion output licence with integrated 3D LUT output function for Sony's TRIMASTER high-end picture monitors, PVM-X3200, PVM-X2400 and PVM-X1800. This licence can be used to output an SDI signal converted from 4K/UHD to 2K/HD and processed by the user 3D LUT data stored in the monitor. Our tetrahedral LUT interpolation in the monitors ensures the highest level of processing for the best possible final results.
This function is enabled via the USB port on the front control panel of the PVM-X3200, PVM-X2400 and PVM-X1800.
You can use this function to provide a signal with 3D LUT applied to an external 4K/HD device in a system.
Notes: The PVM-X3200, PVM-X2400 and PVM-X1800 monitors must be updated to V4.0.
Quad-Link or Dual link signals are automatically converted to appropriate single link signals.
The PVML-HSX1 licence supports these functionalities. When you have the PVM-HSX1 licence, you do not need this licence. If you only need the integrated 3D LUT output function without signal conversion to 2K/HD, the PVML-TDX1 licence is the appropriate licence. When you need Sony HDR-SDR conversion, the PVML-HSX1 licence is the licence you need.
