The BVML-JD10 is a JPEG XS decoder licence for Sony's TRIMASTER HX BVM-HX3110 reference monitor. JPEG XS offers various advantages. The low latency and balance between high quality and high efficiency of video data compression are particularly suited to live production. This licence allows you to feed the monitor with a compressed video signal. By applying it, the monitor can decode a video signal corresponding to the "JPEG XS" video compression standard compliant with the SMPTE ST2110-22 standard. Compressed transmission of video data filmed by a system camera and certain other devices is possible, enabling efficient use of network bandwidth. Consequently, it is possible to reduce the network line bandwidth required for remote production, which should help reduce network line costs.
