USB 3.0 Feed-Through Contrik
The NAUSB3 is a reversible USB 3.0 feed-through adapter. The standardised D-shaped housing of the adapter fits into conventional patch panels and provides additional protection for the connector.
USB 3.0 Performance
To meet USB 3.0 specifications, the NAUSB3* chassis contains tight tolerance pin wiring and enhanced earth connection through additional copper foil between the USB sockets. As a result, the feed-through adapter guarantees permanent write and read speeds > 200 MB/s.
Changeable Gender
Some applications require the USB 3.0 Type A or Type B socket to be at the front to connect peripherals such as hard drives, cameras, etc. The NAUSB3 connector configuration can be changed by rotating the USB insert without special tools.
Optimised Earth Connection
An additional metal lip ensures optimal earth connection between the USB 3.0 socket and the D-size flange to achieve consistent earth level. To eliminate the earth connection, pinch the metal lip.
Cable Lengths
To ensure error-free data transmission, it is essential to use an appropriate cable with the correct length. The table below lists the maximum cable length based on the wire gauge (AWG) of the USB 3.0 cable used.
