The NAUSB3-B is a reversible USB 3.0 pass-through adapter. The adapter's standardised D-shaped housing integrates into conventional patch panels and provides additional protection for the connector.
USB 3.0 Performance
To meet USB 3.0 specifications, the NAUSB3 chassis contains tight tolerance pin wiring and enhanced grounding connection through additional copper film between the USB sockets. Consequently, the pass-through adapter guarantees sustained read and write speeds > 200 MB/s.
Changeable Gender
Some applications require the USB 3.0 Type A or Type B socket to be at the front to connect peripherals such as hard drives, cameras, etc. The NAUSB3 connector configuration can be changed by rotating the USB insert without special tools.
Optimised Grounding Connection
An additional metal lip ensures optimal grounding connection of the USB 3.0 socket to the D-type flange to achieve a consistent ground level. To eliminate the grounding connection, pinch the metal lip.
Cable Lengths
To ensure error-free data transmission, it is essential to use an appropriate cable with the correct length. The table below lists the maximum cable length based on the wire gauge (AWG) of the USB 3.0 cable used.
