Kaiser FilmCopy Vario Kit
Stable holding device for precise positioning of slides and negatives in different formats when scanning with a camera mounted on a copy stand or tripod. For use on light boxes.
Includes an insert for 35 mm slides in 5 x 5 cm mounts and 24 x 36 mm format masks with guide rails for 35 mm film strips.
With suitable format masks or glass inserts (available as accessories), also suitable for film strips and cut slides and negatives in 4.5 x 6 cm, 6 x 6 cm, 6 x 7 cm and 6 x 9 cm formats as well as 24 x 66 mm panoramic format.
The inserts are easy to change.
Mounted 35 mm slides can be placed directly from above onto the device; to place film strips, the pressure frame must be opened.
Lower part with adjustable stop pins for different film widths plus four continuously adjustable masking strips.
Masking frame measuring 254 x 201 mm serving as protection against stray light.
Weight of FilmCopy Vario (without masks, without masking frame): approximately 600 g.
The FilmCopy Vario kit (2458) already includes the ultra-flat LED light box "slimlite plano" (2453) for viewing and sorting slides and negatives and for illumination during scanning (illuminated surface 22 x 16 cm, 5000 Kelvin daylight, CRI = 95, continuously variable intensity, battery and mains operation).
