A complete and portable single-source kit, the Kino Flo FreeStyle 21 LED DMX Kit with flight case contains the versatile FreeStyle 21 LED light, an LED DMX Select 150 controller, an MTP-BG41 mount with Baby 5/8" receiver, a 7.62 m extension cable and a rigid flight case to protect and store the light when not in use.
FreeStyle 21 LED Light
The Kino Flo FreeStyle 21 LED Light is an LED light head that forms part of a system or kit including the required LED DMX Select 150 controller. The light measures 67 x 9 x 33 cm with 15 cm barn doors and weighs 5.2 kg - light enough to be hand-held. The light comes with a removable 90-degree honeycomb. In fact, the LED panel can also be removed from its housing for mounting options. The light operates on 100 to 240 VAC power via its optional controller.
The FreeStyle 21 requires a head cable and controller (available separately) for operation. The LED-150X controller offers an extensive range of 6 channels of control functions and usage options. It features 2 colour menus and a "White Menu" for dimming, colour temperature and green/magenta settings. Using one of the colour menus extends the colour temperature range from a warm 2500K to an icy blue 9900K. The second colour menu enables working with RGB, which is very practical when using colour wheels or RGB presets. The fourth channel (called the Gel channel) features presets for over 100 well-known temperature modification gels, including blue/green screens, sodium vapour and mercury vapour.
A fifth channel allows hue adjustments over a 360-degree range like a colour wheel, whilst the 6th saturation channel controls the intensity of the chosen colour. The required controller features built-in DMX to make adjustments remotely from a console and is also compatible with Lumen Radio wireless DMX. The LED-150X controller operates on 100 to 240 VAC power for worldwide use. It comes with a 2-pin European plug but can be used with any wall socket with the appropriate and inexpensive plug adapter.

The LED Controller for Kino Flo Select 20 and 30 Lights is a detachable controller for the Select 20 or Select 30 LED heads. The controller can be mounted to the rear of the light head or used remotely up to 7.62 m away with an optional extension cable. It enables the light to produce a constant light level across the entire variable colour temperature range of 2700 to 6500K in white menu and 2500 to 9900K in colour menu. The white menu has adjustment channels for dimming, colour temperature and green/magenta. The colour menu provides access to the Gel, Hue Angle and Saturation channels. The Gel channel includes presets such as blue and green screens, sodium vapour, mercury vapour and over 100 well-known lighting gels. The Hue Angle and Saturation channels act like a traditional colour wheel with a 360-degree colour range and choice of colour intensity. The detachable controller features a display screen for menu navigation and information display, as well as physical buttons for navigation and settings. This wired DMX controller is complemented by wireless DMX, provided by Lumen Radio. It can accept universal AC power and can also be powered by DC via a 3-pin XLR connector.
